REACT DC’s Employment Program took clients to the Woodbridge Career Expo, where dozens of employers from across Northern Virginia came together to share opportunities and connect with job seekers.

The fair featured representatives from public safety, youth services, libraries, community services, and HR departments, along with Prince William County Schools, Manassas City Government and Schools, Manassas Parks, NOVA Community College, and more. Clients were able to explore a wide range of career paths, ask questions, and engage directly with local employers in one space.

We are so proud to celebrate the graduation of the 6th cohort of our REACTwomen Women’s Empowerment Program! 🎉

More than 100 women graduated from this cohort alone, and hundreds of refugee and newcomer women have completed the program over the past two years. Through ESL, digital literacy, sewing, and workforce readiness classes, these incredible women continue to build confidence, skills, and community.

Refugee protection cannot exclude tens of thousands of approved refugees and allies still stranded in danger. The U.S. must fully restore refugee processing and uphold its humanitarian commitments.
