🌽 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝—𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧!

We recently received an update from 𝐂𝐆𝐍 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚 on the results of his first commercial maize harvest.

Despite a challenging season of excessive rainfall and waterlogging, Douglas harvested three tonnes of maize—and he’s already making plans to reinvest the proceeds, improve his next crop, and create additional income between growing seasons.

We may attend different organizations and congregations. Geography may separate us physically. We may not always agree on everything.

But there is still so much good we can do 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨, 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧.

Seven years later, that simple belief is still at the heart of CGN.

We’re asking the greater Church of God community to 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐚 (𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧) 𝐆𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬.

Just three weeks after the passing of her husband, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙖 near Summerland. The fire moved so quickly that Martha and her grandchildren were forced to evacuate through heavy smoke with only the clothes they were wearing. They are now facing the difficult task of finding somewhere to live and rebuilding after such tremendous loss.

Through our 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, Church of God Network has contributed to the GoFundMe established for Martha and her family, and we’re sharing their fundraiser for anyone in the greater Church of God community who would also like to help.

Most importantly, please keep Martha and her family in your prayers—for comfort as they grieve, for provision and housing, and for strength as they begin rebuilding their lives.

💙 We’re excited to officially announce a new partnership between 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐯𝐮𝐫𝐚 to help brethren in the United States navigate religious accommodation and discrimination issues involving the Sabbath, Holy Days, and other sincerely held religious beliefs.

For many people, the hardest part is simply knowing where to start.

We love getting to share glimpses of what’s happening across the greater Church of God! 💙

From July 30–August 2, 𝟐𝟓 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟒–𝟏𝟐, 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝, gathered for Church of God Cincinnati’s annual Kids Camp!

This year’s campers learned what it means to be “𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝” through songs, teachings, skits, and plenty of hands-on fun. The weekend also included archery, field games, rope swings, water activities, arts & crafts, bonfires, a glow party dance, and more.

On the Sabbath, the kids even performed the story of Joshua and Caleb surveying the Promised Land—𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣-𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨! 😄

It looks like it was a wonderful weekend of learning, building friendships, and fellowship within the Body of Christ!
