Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day!

Today, we honor and celebrate Indigenous peoples, their rich cultural traditions, creativity, resilience, and enduring contributions to our communities. As a multicultural arts hub, we’re grateful for the Indigenous artists, storytellers, musicians, dancers, and culture bearers who share their traditions and help keep these living histories thriving.

Pictured above: Award winning artist/educator, Eddie Madril of Sewam American Indian Dance, shared the art, culture and beauty of American Indian people through performance and oral narratives last week at our first Performance, Art and Learning youth assembly. 🧡
