Grab your chairs and blankets, pack a picnic lunch and head outdoors to celebrate the diverse cultural traditions of our community with live music and dance from around the globe at Rhythmix in the Parks!🎉🎉

Experience the sounds of zydeco and accordion soul music with Andre Thierry at Franklin Park, immerse yourself in an outdoor, giant puppet theater production with String and Shadow Puppet Theater at Jean Sweeney Park, and feel the richness and soul of traditional Powwow dancing and drumming with Native Boogie and Beats at Lincoln Park.

Embracing the City of Alameda’s motto “Everyone Belongs Here”, Rhythmix in the Parks celebrates our community’s diverse cultural traditions, uplifts underserved voices and supports BIPOC artists. Rhythmix in the Parks brings interactive world music, dance and hands-on art activities together in accessible and safe spaces for the benefit and enjoyment of the entire community.🧡
