💜 FIRST PURPLE FRIDAY – ROTARY CLUB OF PAPATOETOE CENTRAL 💜

Today, our members proudly stood together to say NO to Domestic & Family Violence. ✋💜

We took our awareness message out into the community, engaging with people around Sylvia Park and Manukau Business District, helping start conversations and encourage everyone to stand against violence.

💜 Together, we can change attitudes.
💜 Together, we can change behaviours.
💜 Together, we can prevent violence.

Thank you to our members for standing together and helping create communities where everyone feels safe, respected and supported.

What a wonderful afternoon of Service Above Self at Kolmar Lodge Rest Home today. 🌿

The Rotary Club of Papatoetoe Central was proud to support our elderly residents by providing essential personal hygiene, care and wellbeing products to help bring greater dignity, comfort and independence to their daily lives.

A heartfelt thank you to President Praveen Chand, Club Secretary Mukesh Arora, Project Chair Vandana Arora, Project Co-Chair Jazz Luthra, and all our Rotarians and supporters who gave their time, generosity and care to make this project happen.

💙 Rotary Dignity & Care Project – Kolmar Lodge 💙

On Wednesday, 30 September 2026 at 3:30 pm, Rotary Club of Papatoetoe Central will be carrying out our Dignity & Care Project at Kolmar Lodge.

Our members are looking forward to spending time with the residents, bringing friendship, kindness and a little joy to their afternoon. 🌷

This project reflects what Service Above Self means to us — giving our time, connecting with others and supporting the wellbeing of people in our community.

We look forward to making a positive difference together and continuing our commitment to Create Lasting Impact. 💙

🌟 A Great Club Meeting Filled with Planning, Learning & Fellowship! 🌟

Another productive meeting for our Rotary Club, with great planning for our upcoming projects and exciting opportunities to continue supporting our communities and creating lasting impact. 🤝💙

We were also pleased to hear presentations from three of our Rotarians — Dhara Dhani, Mohinder Garg and Manu Singh — who shared valuable insights on what is happening beyond our local community, along with some important thoughts and practical lessons on living a meaningful, balanced and purposeful life.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, share ideas and reflect on how we can continue to grow, contribute and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to another engaging and productive meeting. Together, we continue to live Service Above Self and Create Lasting Impact. ❤️

🎤✨ Young voices, big courage and inspiring ideas took centre stage! ✨🎤

The Rotary Club of Papatoetoe Central was delighted to support the Speech Competition at Papatoetoe High School, with our Rotarians proudly serving as judges.

This meaningful initiative brought Rotary’s Education & Literacy theme to life by empowering students to share their ideas, express their perspectives and build confidence through public speaking.

We were truly inspired by the courage, preparation and enthusiasm shown by every young speaker. 👏💜

A special thank you to President Praveen Chand, Secretary Mukesh Arora, Project Chair Preeti Prasad and Co Chair Chris Latham, along with the other Rotarians who attended and supported this wonderful project.
