We’re hiring! 📣

We’re looking for a Marketing and Events Co-ordinator to join our Graeme Di**le Foundation Northern team in Mt Wellington, Auckland.

If you’re creative, organised, great with people, and passionate about making a difference for tamariki and rangatahi, this could be the role for you.

You’ll play a key role in bringing our work to life through marketing campaigns, social media, events, sponsorships, communications and storytelling, helping grow awareness of the Graeme Di**le Foundation and the impact of our programmes across the Northern region.

If you love variety, building relationships, and using your skills for a purpose, we’d love to hear from you 💚

🌺 Celebrating Cook Island Language Week! 🌺

Cook Island Language Week is a special opportunity to celebrate the Cook Island languages, culture, traditions and identity, and we were so proud to see Here and Seko bring this celebration to life in our schools ❤️

Through beautiful performances, fun activities and meaningful experiences, they gave our tamariki the opportunity to hear, learn and engage with Cook Island language and culture in a way that was fun, welcoming and memorable.

These moments help our young people build understanding, appreciation and connection with the rich cultures that make up Aotearoa.

A huge thank you to our Kiwi Can Leaders, Here and Seko, for sharing your culture, language and passion with our tamariki, and for helping make Cook Island Language Week such a special celebration in our schools 🙌🏽

A great day of learning, connection and celebration at our Northern Training Days 🌟

Our Kiwi Can Leaders took the team through a Kiwi Can lesson, giving everyone the chance to experience each element of the programme firsthand.

To finish the day, we came together for a massive hāngī in celebration of Matariki. A special thank you to Trojan for sharing his mātauranga around the hāngī process, the stars and astronomy with our team.

Setting SMART goals for 2026 and exploring future career pathways was the focus for our Career Navigator students at Waitakere College last week 💭✨

As part of the session, students reflected on the values that matter most to them and recognised the strengths they see in one another through group discussions and shared experiences.

It was awesome to see the encouragement, ambition and confidence shared throughout the room as rangatahi supported each other to think about the future they want to create. Ka pai! 👏

Our latest Graeme Di**le Foundation Project K Central cohort has headed off to the Coromandel Peninsula, after a pretty special send-off from their whānau. There was a real sense of pride, excitement, and belief in each of these young people as they stepped into their Wilderness Adventure 💜

Before setting off, the group created their own values agreement, something they’ll carry with them over the next 17 days, grounded in trust, respect, resilience and positivity. It’s already shaping how they show up for each other and take on the challenges ahead.

Despite some wild weather rolling through, the group has stayed safe and kept spirits high, just the beginning of what’s already shaping up to be an incredible journey 🙌

Today, we say farewell to Tremaine, an incredible Graeme Di**le Foundation Kiwi Can Leader who has given so much to tamariki across South Auckland ⭐

Since first joining the Graeme Di**le Foundation in 2019, Tremaine has brought energy, heart and genuine care to every session. After two years at Bible College, he returned in 2023 and jumped straight back into leading Kiwi Can alongside Pauline, continuing to show up for young people in a way that truly makes a difference.

Tremaine isn’t just a leader, he’s someone our tamariki look up to, trust, and connect with. And this video from Finlayson Park School says it all.

From being one of the faces of Kiwi Can on TVNZ during COVID to MCing events like Drop Your Boss and Quiz Night, representing our kaupapa with pride, Tremaine has left a lasting mark on our whānau.

Ngā mihi nui, Tremaine, thank you for everything 💚
