💜 Thank you Auckland Uni for having us!

We recently joined the University of Auckland along with Burnett Foundation Aotearoa for an on-campus sexual health screening event, offering free, confidential HIV and STI testing and kōrero in a safe, welcoming space.

Making testing easy and accessible helps people take charge of their sexual health, know their status and get support when they need it. 🫶🏽

🩸What is the HIV window period?

The window period is the time between a possible HIV exposure and when a test can accurately detect HIV. Testing too early may lead to an inaccurate result. Due to the window period the ideal time to be tested for HIV is four weeks after you think you may have been at risk to HIV. But it may take up to 3 months, everyone responds differently to the virus.

Bring Free HIV & Syphilis Testing to Your Community Event 🌟

Are you organising a community event, cultural festival, health expo, church gathering, Pride event, university event, or community celebration?
We are looking to partner with community organisations and event organisers across New Zealand - especially outside Auckland - to provide free, confidential HIV and syphilis testing for event participants.
✅ Free testing ✅ Confidential and non-judgmental ✅ Friendly and experienced health team ✅ Health information and referrals available ✅ Supporting healthier communities.

By offering testing at your event, you can help reduce stigma, improve access to healthcare, and support people to know their status.

📩 Interested in partnering with us? Send us a DM or email us to discuss how we can support your event.
Together, we can make testing more accessible for all communities.
