Auckland Women's Loan Fund

Auckland Women's Loan Fund The Auckland Women's Loan Fund aims to create opportunities which enable women on low incomes to work toward financial independence.

The Auckland Women's Loan Fund, is part of a network of Funds throughout New Zealand that began in Wellington in 1992. We are a charitable trust registered with the Charities Commission. The fund lends small amounts (up to $1000) to women in the Auckland area who are on a low income and have difficulty accessing credit from traditional sources. The loans, by women for women, are designed to be a h

and up, not a hand out. They are used to support women in starting a business, for developing businesses, transitioning into the workplace and/or improving their skill base. The loan decisions are made by the committee. Current committee members are: Maureen Eardley-Wilmot (Trustee), Pam Clarke (Trustee), Dina Buelow (Trustee), Marilyn Sainty (Trustee), Jane Dodds, Charlette Bunn, Hilary Sheperd and Kristina Cavit.
