Are you enrolled to vote? Is everyone in your household who is 18 or over enrolled? How about work colleagues?

Be a voice for nature, be a voice for future generations or just make sure your voice counts. Go on, google "enrol to vote" check you are on there and make sure the person sitting next to you is too.

Be that nagging voice please - blame social media for something positive 💚

We know how blessed we are at UWEN to be surrounded by amazing people doing inspiring things. It is always heart warming to see those people and projects recognised on a national stage as well.

This year, Te Hōnonga a Iwi - Restoring Rosedale Park made the top 10 projects in the Sustainable Business Network's "Regenerating Nature" Next List 2026. In 2025, one of our key advocates and strategy team members, Charissa Snijders was recognised as well for her regenerative architectural practices.

Want to come and be inspired by these amazing people? Reach out, we love to share our skills for the benefit of nature and future generations. We can't do this on our own. 💚

Have you ever fancied being an environmental superhero? Probably not but here's your chance to find out how you can help bring native birds back to a reserve near you and become just that.

Join Louis and some of the superheroes from Habitat Hobsonville for an introduction to trapping and pest animal control. See how easy it is to take positive action for nature, become part of a team of people doing their bit and celebrating their successes together.

You don't have to live in Hobsonville to attend or help out, opportunities exist across Upper Harbour and the wider Auckland region. Just come along and find out more and we'll put you in touch with other opportunities if you are keen to get involved.
