The Green Circle

A great day out this week participating in climate action week with Climate Action Marlborough, hosted by Yealands Wines.
Loved chatting to This is Indevin, Delegat Limited, CarbonScape, Kiwibank and many, many other businesses about our exciting new Biochar project as we look to deliver better solutions for primary industry waste streams in Marlborough.

A new year, a new exciting project. “Gradually, suddenly” comes to mind!

After almost 2 years developing our project, suddenly it’s here and very real.

We have spent the last two weeks installing our new tech pyrolysis machine at Yealands Estate Winery.

The Green Circle is an Upcycling Energy business. We make carbon based products from primary waste streams and in the process create green energy.

We’re super excited to be part of the upcoming Climate Action Marlborough week and checking out all the exciting initiatives happening in and around Blenheim that will deliver better outcomes for our community.

Climate Action Marlborough is activating Climate Action Week this February to create awareness and education to inspire organisations to take action on the things that are important to their organisations and stakeholders.

On Tuesday 20th February we will be spending the day at Yealands Wines immersed in the topic of "Transitioning to a low Carbon Emissions Economy" where we will check out The Green Circle biochar pilot underway.

Here are the directors of The Green Circle Bevan Jones, David Savidan and Steve Brennan with the first premium biochar from their new pyrolysis machine at Yealands Estate converting waste into new life!

Their smiles say it all.

Join us in February for Climate Action Week

It starts and ends here! Hydro from The Green Circle promotes biodiversity and healthy soils that fix nitrogen and sequester carbon. Banking carbon in the soil is banking money.

We are proud to be working with NZ's primary producers to upcycle their waste streams and create carbon-based products.
