We’re so grateful to have so many amazing partners supporting us as we establish Ngā Hua o Oranga.

Today, we want to give a big shout-out to our friends at Onehunga Community Recycling Centre for their incredible support!

On Friday, their team helped us move our garden shed, frames, and other important items from our old garden to our new site. Their mahi made such a difference and helped us take another big step forward in creating our new space.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support, generosity, and helping hands. We really appreciate you!

Love seeing opportunities like this being created for our Hamlin Park community. 💛

Come along, bring your whānau or a neighbour, and tautoko the kaupapa. The more of us who get involved, the stronger our community becomes. 🙌🌳

Don't forget! ♻️

Have you got a drawer full of old batteries, tangled cables, or unused electronics? Now's the perfect time to clear them out!

Bring your household batteries and e-waste along for FREE recycling and help keep valuable materials out of landfill. 🌏

Together, we can make a real difference for our community and our environment.

📍 Bring your old phones, laptops, chargers, cables, and other small electronics.
❌ Please note: We can't accept fridges, whiteware, or dehumidifiers.

Koha Atu, Koha Mai. Give Some, Take Some. We can't wait to see you! 💚

𝗞𝗼𝗵𝗮 𝗔𝘁𝘂, 𝗞𝗼𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗶. Give Some, Take Some.

We're inviting the community to bring along their household batteries and e-waste for 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. ♻️ It's our way of giving back, reducing waste, and helping recover valuable materials that can be reused instead of ending up in landfill.

This kaupapa is all about community, giving what you can, taking what you need, and looking after the place we all call home. 🌏 Whether you're clearing out old cables, phones, laptops, small electronics, or used household batteries, we'd love to see you there.

Thanks to our partners Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and ReGroup for their support with this kaupapa. Let’s keep hazardous waste out of our landfills, together!

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: We 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 accept fridges, whiteware, or dehumidifiers under this scheme. Please speak to our team for more options!
