Lōemis is an annual midwinter arts festival that began in 2016 (as a pay-what-you-can event) all around Te Whanganui-a-Tara

Winter Haven is all about winter soul food, served in a warm space with aroha. Enjoy a 3 course dinner, that will fill you up, belly and soul.

Want to bring your team together for something that actually matters?

Meals That Matter is our hands-on team cooking experience where your crew prepares nourishing kai for whānau doing it tough, using rescued and thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

In Auckland, that means hearty family meals heading straight to Island Child Charitable Trust in Tāmaki. In Wellington, your team works with rescued fish from The Kai Ika Project to create chowder or risotto for Te Umu ki Rangituhi, Porirua’s first social supermarket.

You cook, you share a meal together, you hear the stories behind the kaupapa, and you leave knowing real people ate well because your team showed up.

$1,500 + GST for up to 10 people. Auckland Tuesdays, Wellington Thursdays.

A moment for our amazing supporters!

On Saturday 6 June, we’re bringing together Bocuse d’Or Team New Zealand and Mount Cook Alpine Salmon for Roe to Tail, a whole-salmon dining experience at Onehunga Eats.

Doors open at 6pm for bubbles and a caviar bump, before guests are seated for a multi-course tasting menu that takes Mount Cook Alpine Salmon through raw, cured, smoked and cooked preparations.

Produce for the dinner generously supplied by The Produce Company, wines by Villa Maria, and for those not drinking, award-winning non-alcoholic cocktails from Elta Ego.

It’s a celebration of premium New Zealand ingredients, world-class culinary skill, and a philosophy that wastes as little as possible.

Bunny chow was born in Durban, and so was Head Chef Urisha Sing.

“I moved to New Zealand when I was two, but every time we went back to South Africa for holidays, we’d always stop at the corner shop for bunny chow. That warmth of the curry, the softness of the bread. It’s the kind of food that stays with you forever.”

She’s bringing that story to Glen Innes Eats.
