We are located on Auckland's North Shore. Awataha is a cultural venue advocationg the bridging of cultures, offering a range of services to unify the community. The cultural experience offers a hands on experienc. Discover how maori transfered their whakapapa (Genealogy) through mediums such as; waiata (song) purakau (stories), and raranga (weaving). See how you can express your whakapapa in thes

e ways. Awataha recognises that a commitment to our future requires playing an active role in the education of our tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth). Awataha have developed many programs that aid in developing our future by nurturing our people to become leaders.
