We successfully conducted the third Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting for the research study, “Understanding the Barriers to Menstrual Justice for Adolescent Girls in Nepal: A Multi-Method Scoping Study,” on 24 June in Kathmandu, under the chairpersonship of Ms. Neera Adhikari, Under-Secretary, Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities, and Social Security.

During the meeting, the Menstrual Justice research team from Nepal and the University of Bath presented and discussed preliminary findings from the midline survey conducted after the intervention programme.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all TAC members for their active participation, valuable insights, and continued guidance in advancing menstrual justice research in Nepal.

On behalf of CREHPA, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Uddhab Puri and the entire family during this difficult time. The loss of a mother is profound, and our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this period of grief and remembrance.

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our five-day workshop on "Longitudinal Data Analysis Using STATA ," held from March 9–13, 2026.

Conducted by CREHPA in collaboration with the University of Southampton and the University of Bath, the workshop brought together participants from CDPS, CDE, PAHS, and CREHPA. Over five intensive days, participants engaged in hands-on sessions to sharpen their skills in managing and analyzing longitudinal data. The interactive format emphasized practical applications within real-world public health research contexts.

A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding facilitators, valued partners, and enthusiastic participants for their active engagement. Your contributions made this workshop a resounding success.

We look forward to continued collaboration and further capacity strengthening in public health research.

The launch of first-ever Menstrual Health and Justice Guideline in Nepal which is developed by the Ministry of Social Development, Karnali Province. This landmark initiative addresses critical issues of menstrual health, rights and justice. The guideline comprehensively covers access to menstrual products, elimination of stigma and discrimination, quality education, access to supportive services, environmental sustainability including advocacy and empowerment.

The guideline was officially launched in 16th January, 2026 by the Honorable Minister of Social Development, Mr. Ghanshyam Bhandari in Surkhet.

CREHPA is pleased to be part of this milestone initiative and to have provided technical support in the development of this important guideline.
