WE-WIN is happy to collaborate with National Indigenous Women’s National Indigenous Women's Federation - NIWF, together with National Indigenous Women Forum - NIWF, National Indigenous Disabled Women Association Nepal, Indigenous Women Legal Awareness Group (INWOLAG) and Focus for Indigenous Girls (FIG) to collaboratively celebrate International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 2026. A consortium coordination meeting was organized on 30 July to prepare for the joint celebration of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, which will be commemorated on 7 August 2026, ahead of the official observance on 9 August.

On 13–14 June 2026, WEWIN supported the participation of Indigenous young girls at the UN World Indigenous Youth Conference 2026.

This opportunity empowered young Indigenous girls to share their voices, connect with peers from around the Asia, and contribute to meaningful discussions on Indigenous rights.

WEWIN continue to champion spaces where Indigenous girls can learn, lead, and inspire the change.

This election our communities will vote when they address our demands. We no longer stand to be trampled on and continuously be mis-represented in the parliament. We stand together for Indigenous Peoples Rights!
