🚨 BIG NEWS: Fifteen children are free.

Last week, our team – working alongside police, child welfare officers and local authorities – rescued 15 children from child labour in a single operation. Seven boys and eight girls, some as young as twelve.

They had been working in motorbike workshops, carpet factories, construction sites and hotels. Some were paid little or nothing for ten to twelve hours of work a day. 💔

This rescue didn't happen overnight. Our team had been visiting the area for months, identifying children at risk and pushing for their release. When warnings to employers went ignored, we escalated – and went back in.

Now all fifteen children are receiving medical care, counselling and support, and we're working to reunite them with their families. 🧡

This is what your support makes possible. Thank you. 🙏

Meet Manish!!

He is among the first children from his community to have completed Grade 10 through our support. Today, he is working alongside us, tutoring young minds and teaching students under Grade 7 at Shree Brahmakali School, supporting them with their homework and extra classes.

He is currently in Grade 12, and we have been supporting him for the past four years. His journey is a powerful reminder that when one child is given the opportunity to learn, it creates hope.
Today, he is passing that hope forward—nurturing dreams and opening doors for the next generation in his community.

🚨 BREAKING RESCUE NEWS 🚨

This morning, eight boys were working in fish shops, horse stables, construction sites and scrapyards across Lalitpur. Tonight, they are sitting together, watching a Bollywood comedy and laughing.

This is what rescue looks like. 🧡

When our team arrived today, they had six boys on their list. They found eight. We don't ever leave a child behind.

The first thing the boys asked for when they arrived? Tea and chow mein. 🍜 We were glad to oblige.

These boys – some as young as twelve – are now safe, fed and free to just be children. For some of them, that's the first time in years.

None of this happens without you. Thank you. 💛

We recently rescued three young sisters from a very vulnerable home where they had been living without proper care. With their mother gone and their father working all day as a laborer, the eldest—only 12 years old—was left to look after her 9-year-old and 3-year-old sisters. All three were severely malnourished, and the youngest was suffering from seizures and was unable to stand or speak properly.

With the support of Godawari Municipality, we brought them to our shelter home, completed their medical checkups, and cared for them for two months. The two older girls got enrolled in Kitini School, and the youngest slowly began showing signs of improved health and positive change.

As requested by the municipality, the sisters have now been transferred to another child home for long term care. We truly hope and wish they grow up safe, healthy, and find the brighter future every child deserves.
