A six-days training program on Community Agriculture Learning was successfully organized by the Agriculture Development Unit of Namkha Rural Municipality for the students of the Agriculture Faculty at Shree Mahaboudha Secondary School. It was commenced from 29th May till 3rd May 2025. The training was facilitated by three dedicated teachers—Mr. Prakash Shahi, Mr. Dhiraj Mall, and Mr. Mim Bahadur Budha—along with expert trainer Mr. Saroj Bohara from the Agriculture Department of Namkha Rural Municipality.

The training covered a wide range of important topics including plant nutrition, pesticide use, nursery management, bio-fertilizer preparation, plant diseases and their management, as well as soil sampling and analysis. Emphasis was placed on practical learning; although theoretical sessions were conducted, the focus remained on hands-on demonstrations and active student participation throughout the training.

Special appreciation goes to Namkha Rural Municipality for their initiative in making this agricultural education program possible and happening. This project was originally envisioned by Mr. Kumar Lama, Founder of Himalayan Children Society, and was made possible with the support of Adara Development under the guidance of Mr. Pralhad Kumar Dhakal and Angjuk Lama.
