The Dialogue and Culture Organization (DCO), as part of the Young Women's Leadership Program for Peacebuilding, participated in the Young Women's Leadership Program for Peacebuilding, within the framework of the "Pathways to Peace (P2P): An Empowerment Journey for Young Civil Peacebuilding Actors in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq" project.

This project was implemented by People in Need in coordination with the Women's Empowerment Organization (WEO) and funded by the European Union (EU).

The program included the following activities:
• Four online webinars between June and August.
• A 2-day field leadership training in September.
• Leadership4Peace support group activities.
• Networking and collective learning opportunities with other leaders.

Finally, on October 14–15, DCO participated in Erbil in the workshop "Women Lead with Confidence and Resilience," alongside participants from Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, and Halabja, to exchange experiences and perspectives.

DCO Participates in IRIS Panel Discussion on the Hormuz Crisis at AUIS

Dialogue Culture Organization (DCO) attended the panel discussion titled "Navigating the Hormuz Crisis: Economic Resilience in Iraq and the Region."

Hosted by the Institute of Regional and International Studies (IRIS) at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS), in partnership with the Iraq Economic Review (IER) on September 22, 2026, the event brought together senior officials, policy advisors, and experts to examine the economic and strategic implications of Strait of Hormuz instability for Iraq and the wider region.

ئاشتی ئەو پێداویستییە سەرەکییەیە کە لە نەبوونیدا گشت خۆشییەکانی ژیان بێبەها دەبن. ئاشتی ڕاستەقینە تەنها نەبوونی جەنگ و ململانێ نییە، بەڵکو لە ئارامیی دڵ و یەکترقبووڵکردنەوە دەست پێدەکات. بۆیە وەک ‘’ڕێکخراوی دیالۆگ وکەلتوور’‘ پێمان وایە هەموو هەوڵێکی بچووک بێت یاخود گەورە بۆ بونیادنانی ئاشتی گرنگە و بەرز دەنرخێنین.

Peace is the essential necessity without which all of life’s joys become meaningless. True peace is not merely the absence of war and conflict; rather, it begins with peace of mind and mutual acceptance.
