As a Sustainable Development network, we strongly condemn all violations of human rights committed by the forces of Damascus against the Kurds of Rojava, and we support efforts to establish a ceasefire and peace.
The violation of the ceasefire between Damascus and the SDF shows that Ahmed al-Sharaa either does not have the ability to control the militia forces affiliated with the Syrian government, or he is openly declaring a ceasefire while secretly instructing those militias to attack the SDF.
We call on all international organizations, as well as democratic countries, to raise their voices against these violations committed by Syrian forces.
