Re:
Dear Secretary Rubio:
I am writing as a concerned resident of Sulaymaniyah with deep ties to the Syrian Kurdish people who are targeted in ongoing massacres. Recent events in Syria, including sectarian violence against minorities following the Assad regime's fall, have resulted in documented killings of civilians, including women and children, as reported by international observers. These atrocities, such as attacks on coastal regions populated by the Alawites and the Southern regions dominated by the Druzes, both as Syrian citizens, have been extended to include the Kurdish population in Northeastern Syria, known as Rojava, involving reprisal killings and displacement, violate international humanitarian law that demand immediate U.S. leadership.
Therefore, I urge your Department of State to intervene immediately by withdrawing your incompetent USA Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Tom Barrack, who is severely damaging the decade long alliance between the United State and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to fight terrorism in the region. In fact, against all Western political morals, Mr. Barrack have not only been tarnishing the reputations of the American people, but also barefacedly promoting the rise of extremist
So-called Islamic organizations to hold power in Syria and beyond. His destructive statements on nullifying the unmistakable sacrifices of Kurds to defeat ISIS are well documented by mainstream media.
In addition, I ask you to support independent investigations of what is going on in Syria and forcefully implement transitional justice processes to impose stability, peace, and the democratic values through imposing targeted sanctions on perpetrators while protecting Syrian civilians. Moreover, since your administration's stance on minority protection is vital for Syria's stability, I also ask you to provide humanitarian aid to affected communities, including Kurds, Alawites, Druze, and Christians.
Thank you for considering this plea.
I am available for further discussion.
Warm Regards,
Humanity
