At Bal Asha Trust, we believe every child has the potential to shine. ❤️

Today, we celebrate all the teachers in children’s homes who teach, encourage, nurture and believe in every child’s potential.

Your care and guidance leave a lasting impact—one that goes far beyond the years a child spends with you.

Happy Teachers’ Day! 🌸

A home is more than comfort. It gives a sense of security, belonging and emotional stability the foundation the children need to build trust, express themselves, learn, explore and grow with confidence.

At Bal Asha Trust, everyday care is rooted in creating that family - familiar faces, loving interactions, play, encouragement and the reassurance that they are important and cared for.

Because when children feel safe and they feel they belong, they have the space to simply be children—and thrive.

On 7th August 2026, under Bal Asha Trust’s Mumkin Programme, we conducted a training session in collaboration with District Women and Child Development, Thane on coordination between Child Care Institutions, Adoption Agencies, Child Welfare Committees and district authorities.

Organisations came together with a shared purpose—to strengthen the child protection ecosystem and build stronger pathways for children to access the right care, protection and family-based solutions.

What made the session truly impactful was the curiosity, questions, case discussions and active participation of the stakeholders.

Together, we explored diverse cases, discussed prospective opportunities and strengthened understanding of rehabilitation for children in institutions.
