EdVentures 2026 continued with immersive sessions focused on strengthening classroom practice, school culture, child safety, digital learning, and instructional readiness.

Day 4 focused on subject-specific learning, mentorship, leadership culture, child protection, and the role technology can play in supporting teaching and learning.

Day 5 explored digital learning practices and child safety awareness, helping educators better understand both technology-enabled classrooms and the responsibility adults hold in creating safe spaces for children.

Day 6 brought sessions on parent partnerships, instructional readiness, student digital leadership, creativity, and a keynote by Shaheen Mistri on what makes a great teacher.

Across every session, one idea remained constant: meaningful learning happens when educators continue to learn, reflect, collaborate, and grow together.

Stay connected for Edventures 2027.

EdVentures 2026 has brought together Akanksha’s educators for sessions on classroom culture, lesson planning, student behaviour, feedback, AI in education and the values that shape the Akanksha way of teaching and learning.

The first three days have been action packed, exciting and full of learning.

Day 1 brought together our new cohort of educators and focused on understanding the Akanksha journey, from alumni stories and organisational values to conversations on what it truly means to be an Akanksha teacher.

Day 2 explored classroom practice through demo lessons, lesson planning, and the SHARP student vision, helping educators unpack what strong teaching and learning looks like in action.

Day 3 brought conversations on student behaviour, feedback culture, AI in education, and HR policies equipping educators with the tools, mindset, and support systems needed beyond the classroom.

Across every session, one idea remained constant: great classrooms are built through reflection, relationships, collaboration, and purpose.

Edventures is how new teachers begin their journey at Akanksha. It’s a 5-day journey of learning, bonding and fun, designed to welcome and train our newest teachers the Akanksha way.

Over the next few days, our new teachers will hear inspiring stories, meet alumni and school leaders, learn about our classrooms and culture, and most importantly, begin building connections with one another.

Edventures is our way of welcoming new teachers into the Akanksha community before the school year begins.

And honestly? We can’t wait for them to experience it all.

Stay tuned for live updates from this action packed week!

At the International Thai Boxing Championship 2026 in Pokhara, Nepal, three Akanksha students made their mark. Our student Parth Rane (NNMPS) won a Gold Medal, while Kyara Yadav (NNMPS) and Rudra Pandey (DNMPS) brought home Silver Medals.

Sports at Akanksha goes beyond encouraging teamwork and discipline; we aim to develop lifelong skills such as sportsmanship, dedication, and resilience. Competing and succeeding at an international championship is no small feat, and we are proud to see our students represent their schools with such confidence and determination.

Long before they stepped into the ring in Pokhara, our students were putting in early morning practice sessions and pushing themselves to improve each day.

A special appreciation to Coaches - Gaurav Bhaiya, Omkar Bhaiya, and Fayaz Bhaiya for their constant guidance and support throughout this journey.

Akanksha’s Annual Day in Pune was a celebration in the truest sense. This year’s theme - “How I Wonder” brought alive the curiosity that drives every child’s learning journey. Through their performances, students put a spotlight on issues such as gender equality, building a reading culture, and creating awareness around menstruation.
They lit up the stage with their confidence, creativity and pure joy.

The evening also celebrated the educators, school leaders and staff, recognising the years they have spent building Akanksha, bringing innovation into classrooms.

The evening was a reminder of the partnerships that power this ecosystem - students, parents, educators and school leaders and what becomes possible when that collective effort is sustained over time.

Talent, confidence, and pure joy were on display at Babulban Got Talent.

Organised by Babulban NMC English Medium School as part of their events week, over 80 students auditioned for the showcase. From dance and singing to skating, skipping, and laathi khela, 22 performances lit up the stage.

At Akanksha, extracurricular activities are not an add-on. They are essential to holistic development of students. They help children build confidence, discover their voice, and develop skills that go beyond the classroom.

When children are given a platform, they don’t just participate, they shine.
