The Vatsalya Foundation

The Vatsalya Foundation The Vatsalya Foundation (TVF) is a development organization working with vulnerable children. This field action project was later registered in 1994.

Since its establishment in 1982, The Vatsalya Foundation (TVF) has been working closely with street children and youth in the city of Mumbai to help them discover options for a better future. The inception of TVF was seen in 1982 when a group of students from College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan, came across street children who were staying or working at the railway stations, Marine Drive, near

Bombay Hospital and other streets in Mumbai. The Vatsalya Foundation has been consistently working at building its own standards based on the Rights of the Child to Name & Nationality, Nutrition, Education, Health, Family Life, Play, Equal treatment, and Emergency Assistance. Through a direct intervention with the children on the streets and in the day care centre a regular follow has been maintained along with a planned rehabilitation process and in many cases there has been a consistent success in repatriation to the family and mainstreaming the child back to society.

Celebrating World Mime Day in the most beautiful way ✨🎭

Our children took the stage to showcase everything they’ve learned throughout the year — expression, imagination, and pure joy. With our mime trainer and team members joining in, it became more than just a performance… it became a shared story ❤️

A total of 50 participants made this event truly special. We also invited the children’s parents, and watching their own kids perform on stage was an emotional moment for many of them. It was a proud and heartwarming experience.

For Vatsalya Foundation, this was a beautiful reflection of the children’s growth — something words can hardly capture, but could truly be felt.

Thank you to all our donors and well-wishers for your constant support 🙏💖

We are happy to share that we celebrated World Happiness Day with smiles, joy, and togetherness 😊✨

A fun-filled clowning session with Sagar Bhoir 🤡 filled the evening with laughter and excitement. The children enjoyed every moment, expressing themselves freely and creating beautiful memories.

A total of 50 children from the Open Shelter Home and Mahim Day Care Centre participated wholeheartedly.

The Vatsalya Foundation remains committed to bringing happiness and brighter futures to underprivileged children.

Thank you to all our supporters, volunteers, and the Vatsalya Team for making this possible ❤️🙏
