This Cancer Rose Day, CPAA came together to celebrate the courage of cancer warriors, the strength of survivors and the unwavering support of families and loved ones. ❤️

From heartfelt interactions and beautiful smiles to the city lighting up in red, every moment reflected one powerful message : Hope grows when we stand together.

🌹 CANCER ROSE DAY 2026 | EVERY ROSE BRINGS HOPE 🌹

On 22nd September 2026, the auditorium at LTMG Sion Hospital, Mumbai, blossomed with something more powerful than roses — smiles, music, courage and hope.

Co-hosted by Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and LTMG Sion Hospital, Cancer Rose Day brought together 350 children with cancer and their caregivers from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, Sion; Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children; CTC, Borivali; Nair Charitable Hospital; King Edward Memorial Hospital; and other hospitals across Mumbai.
For one afternoon, hospital corridors gave way to music, laughter and celebration. 🌹

The children were treated to lively performances by Leslee Lewis and Kavya Jones, who filled the auditorium with popular numbers and made Rose Day truly special. Each child also received a goodie bag thoughtfully put together with useful and meaningful items, generously sponsored by our well-wishers — little gestures that brought an extra touch of joy to the day. 🎁

We were honoured by the presence of senior doctors from LTMG Sion Hospital — Dean Dr. Sudhir Pawar, Asst. Dean Dr. Ghanshyam Ahuja, Dr. Sujata Sharma, Dr. Purvi Kadakia and Dr. Yeshwant Gabale — whose care and commitment continue to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors Seth Bhojraj Hasoomal Charitable Trust, Orbit Pharma and Clearpoint Pharma Pvt. Ltd. for helping make this celebration possible. Some people enter your journey… and some become a part of your story forever.

Two decades ago, Vivek Oberoi walked into the CPAA family not just as a supporter, but as a Forever Saathiya.🌹

Through the years, he has stood beside cancer patients, survivors and their families with a heart full of compassion and a promise that goes beyond words.

Today, as we celebrate 50 years of his life, we celebrate something even more beautiful the countless moments of hope, courage and smiles he has helped create. ✨

Because birthdays are not just about counting the years we have lived…
they are about counting the lives we have touched. ❤️

🌹 EVERY ROSE BRINGS HOPE

This Rose Day 2026, hope travelled across Delhi and Pune, bringing smiles, comfort and moments of joy to 500+ cancer patients and children.

In Delhi, 100 children at the AIIMS Paediatric Ward received special goodie bags filled with treats — bringing a little extra happiness to their day. ❤️

In Pune, 400+ patients across 7 hospitals — Vishranti Hospital, Indrayani Hospital and Cancer Institute, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Center, KEM Hospital, Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Integrated Cancer Treatment and Research Centre, and Bharati Hospital and Research Center — received thoughtfully curated care kits.

At the CPAA Pune office, Lions Club of Pune Downtown brought smiles with a magic show, while ration was distributed to paediatric cancer patients.
