🩵 Late Night Rescue ….

Petey one of our east Galway colony cats showed up with a paw abscess late last night.

He was safely trapped in a transport box and seen out of hours by Liam of Craughwell Vets.

We are very grateful to all the vet professionals who help us when we most need the assistance …. xx.

🌿💚 Little Clarissa is staying in her hidey hole at Bushypark Vets until Tuesday when she can get her stitches removed and be returned to her colony group.

❤️‍🩹 Mario our RTA jaw wire case is out of vet care after 4 long weeks.

He is on a soft food diet but the form is very affectionate and obviously pain free.

He has a good care structure and will be monitored to ensure he stays in good shape after all this effort in his favour by the teams at Briarhill & Bushypark Vets.

Parsley 🌿 a colony cat was successfully trapped and neutered today as part of a large scale TNR project in conjunction with a senior care charity in the athenry area.

Almost there, a few hesitant ones to convince yet but we get there.

“Well begun is half done”!!

🆘 Traumatic Neck Wound Case ….

This ginger and white feral Tom cat has been in some serious wars of late it seems.

He showed up at several locations with a bad neck wound and looking very down on his luck.

Thankfully with our network we could track him down 🪤 trap him and the kind professionals at Briarhill did the rest.

Wound debridement, flushing & long acting antibiotics, treatment to include neuter, parasite treatment and FIV/FeLV testing (all negative).

He has now gone back to a kind carer who will continue to give pain relief in food.

Hopefully he can heal well and feel a whole lot better in himself.

We are working on cases so effectively and hope that you our supportive public can help us by donation.

We would love if local government would see the merit in this welfare work done for all the community’s benefit!
