The Green Market We will also have teddy bear and doll hospitals running regularly throughout the year.

We're a non-profit community enterprise, supporting people to live more sustainably. Indoor Market: Fridays = Veg & Egg Market / Saturdays = Full Market...Plus: Classes, Repair Cafes, Stage, Cinema, Art Gallery, Storytelling, Space Hire & more! 'The Green Market' will have the following products and services:

1) Indoor Market (Galway's only permanent)

- a weekly market where we will

provide affordable market stalls for local sustainable food producers and craft makers.

2) Performance Space

- a cultural space for local performances and family-friendly entertainment.

3) Art Gallery

- a dedicated gallery space for local and national artists to display their work.

4) Locky's Wonder Emporium

- we will widen the our Emporium's current sustainable living products (toys, games, decorations, gift wrapping), to include eco-friendly arts and crafts materials (e.g., eco paints/inks, Bioglitter, eco tape/glue, etc).

5) Sustainability Skills Workshops

- educational workshops on topics such as composting, sewing, insulation, solar panels, and sustainable gardening (e.g., no dig gardening, organic gardening, etc).

6) Repair Cafes

- monthly repair workshops, where the public can come with items (non electrical) that our volunteers can either fix their item for them for a donation or fix for free if the person is interested in learning how to fix the item. The Market will be a hive of activity and support for local people in Conamara (and the people of Galway City/County) interested in living and celebrating more sustainably.

There's so much on offer already in the village and this year we're looking forward to our markets adding to the festive atmosphere and community spirit. Our Christmas market officially opens on December 5th with live music and festive cheer.
