Wassup people? 🤓

Big shoutout to everyone who turned up this Saturday morning, in spite of the low tide, and kind of stinky seaweed water?? 🍤👃 Not only did the Sub Aqua Society grace us with their flippers but there was some pretty funky head gear on show 🤠

I don’t know about you guys, but I think Dazzler physically pierced the camera with his smouldering (blue steel-esque) looks and orange hat combo - Derek Zoolander would be proud ✨

Keep an eye out for the cards and put the utmost effort into all subsequent Coldvember themes in order to get your paws on a Fantastic Framed Prize (Check Story) 🖼️

Tomorrows swim is at 9am again *sharpish* - so be there or be ⭕️

will be providing hot bevvies for all swimmas so make sure to bring your mug!! 🌚☕️

Thank you so much to all you brave souls who joined us this morning!! 🌅 👻 Farrrr more people than we could have expected, given the lack of sleep had by all! 😴

Thank you to for the soul warming tea, and for all the pastries!

GOOD GRIEF! 🫢 How the time flies - Coldvember day 1 is in 21 hours! 🤩

We will be having our very first swim tomorrow morning at sunrise (7:30) and every single one of you is invited !! 🤭🫵 It is fancy dress friday so dont bother taking of your halloween costumes this eve!! 🧛‍♀️👻 Sneak peek coming later of what we will be wearing 😉

Dont forget your mugs because our lovely friends over at Little Collins will be providing some hot h**p tea for all you brave soldiers 🫡 This will be accompanied by mounds of rocky road and some pastries from the very generous 🥐🥧

We will also have some very special limited edition coldvember tshirts available for purchase 🫨 they are few and far between and will be first come, first serve so dont dilly dally if youd like to secure one! 🏃‍♀️💨
They will cost €20 each (€7 covers cost of tshirt, €13 goes straight to cancer care west) , and have been hand printed by our very own (so if yours is a bit dodgy looking you can blame her 🫢)

We are SOOOOOO excited for what this month has in store for us all, and cant wait to raise some funds for the fabulous cancercarewest 💜💚

MUGS MUGS MUGS MUGS MUGS ☕
We love a cup of tea post swim as much as the next person - but what we dont love is single use cups! 👎 So, we’re not going to have any.🙅‍♀️ We will have hot drinks on mondays and fridays and some other days (keep an eye on our daily posts/captions) thanks to our lovely lovely sponsors but you will need to bring a mug with you if you would like to avail! It doesnt need to be a travel mug, a regular one will do you just fine! ❤️‍🔥

Getting to coldvember!🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️

Plan A - if you have a car / know someone who does, you can drive down to salthill in the morning - there should be very little traffic so early! There is parking directly on the prom or else up threadneedle road. If you have spare seats be sure to offer them around in return for some petrol money or a hot drink! 🚗

Plan B - the 401 runs from eyresquare and spanish arch all day, at 30 minute intervals. You can get off down by the cinema and walk over, or else wait for it to come all the way around to the diving board stop! 🚌

Plan C - you can cycle !🚲 if you have a bike its a lovely scenic ride from town along the seafront. (applicable to roller blades and skateboards too!)🛼🛹

Plan D - get a taxi! If you persuade some of your friends/housmates/coursemate/neighbours to come with you it should only cost €2ish each. The more the merrier! 🚕

With all those options, you’ve no excuse not to! 😉
