Vassilios Papadopoulos, dean of the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and interim dean of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine.

*Election to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) is considered one of the highest honors in health, medicine, and biomedical science.*

'Move the horizon’: USC celebrates Beong-Soo Kim’s investiture as the university’s 13th president

Thousands of members of the Trojan Family came together on Friday, October 16, for the official investiture of Beong-Soo Kim as USC’s 13th president in a ceremony steeped in tradition and USC pageantry.

Before an audience of about 4,500 people, USC celebrated President Kim’s formal induction with a morning ceremony, luncheon, and campuswide celebration. Expressing unwavering faith in USC’s potential, Kim outlined an ambitious vision for the university to reinvigorate its educational programs, deepen its interdisciplinary research impact and strengthen ties with industry and community partners.
