JA Asia Pacific Junior Achievement (JA) provides learning experiences for students in Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Work Readiness.

JA Asia Pacific is the Regional Operating Centre (ROC) of JA Worldwide. JA Asia Pacific Limited is a member of JA Worldwide, one of the world’s largest youth-serving NGOs dedicated to activating youth for the future of jobs. Through the delivery of cutting-edge, experiential learning in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, we create pathways for employability and job creation. Each year, our network of over 470,000 volunteers serves more than 10 million students in over 100 countries. Home to 60% of the world’s youth, JA Asia Pacific is dedicated to enabling and empowering the youth to benefit from the region’s economic development and to create a positive impact in their lives and communities. The 17 members JA Asia Pacific network is powered by over 30,000 volunteers and mentors from all sectors of society, reaching more than 650,000 around the region.​

🏎️ AI adoption is accelerating across Asia Pacific. But is youth work readiness keeping pace? 📈

A new report from us - JA Asia Pacific, the JA Institute JA Worldwide, and Ecosystm calls for coordinated action to ensure Asia Pacific’s workforce is prepared for an AI-enabled future. Workforce Blueprint for AI finds that preparing for an AI-enabled future requires more than proficiency with specific tools. As technologies and roles continue to change, durable skills such as critical thinking, creativity, judgment, adaptability, collaboration, and problem solving will become even more important.

Home to 700 million young people, Asia Pacific has an opportunity to help shape the future of AI and work. 🌏 Preparing the region’s workforce for an AI-enabled future requires coordinated action to close readiness gaps, strengthen education and training systems, and ensure young people participate in decisions about how AI is developed and used.
