Hello, my name is Soya Bean! I was one of many purebred cats abandoned on a field in Yuen Long, in January 2026. We were all quite poorly and were likely dumped from a breeder who did not want to pay for our vet bills.

All the other cats from this group have since been adopted and I would love to have my chance at a happy ever after next. Although I might be missing an eye, I am extra gentle, sweet and friendly and will need an owner who is experienced with my breed.
If you can give me a loving, forever home, please come visit me and see if we make a good match!

SPCA Tsing Yi, Wan Chai, Kowloon and Sai Kung adoption centres are open every day 11am-5:30pm (appointment free).

由7月9日起，狗狗將可進入獲批准食肆，香港亦即將迎來更多人寵共融嘅用餐空間！我哋好高興今次獲漁護署同食環署邀請，由愛協高級行為支援導師（行為及訓練）梁雪萍（Lily） 分享喺寵物友善餐廳內，狗主同一般食客都要留意嘅基本禮儀。🩵

希望大家一齊做好自己嗰份：無論你係狗主定一般食客，多一份準備、多一份體諒、互相尊重，就可以共同建立更友善、更舒服嘅用餐體驗。✨

Let’s get ready to welcome a new pet-friendly dining experience this July 🍽️🐾

Starting from 9 July, dogs will be allowed to enter approved food premises, bringing more shared dining spaces for people and pets across Hong Kong.

We are delighted to have been invited by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to have Lily Leung, SPCA’s Senior Behaviour Support Technician, share the basic etiquette that both dog owners and other diners should keep in mind when visiting pet-friendly restaurants.

As we welcome this new arrangement, we hope everyone will do their part. Whether you are a dog owner or a diner, a little preparation, understanding and mutual respect can go a long way in creating a positive and comfortable experience for all.

If you are a restaurant operator planning to welcome dogs into your premises and would like advice on environment setup, supporting facilities and practical implementation, SPCA’s Behavioural and Training team is here to help.
