🔎 CAN ANYONE HELP US IDENTIFY THIS UNIQUE PIECE? 🐉💚

We’ve had this rather extraordinary piece donated to our charity shop, and we’re hoping someone out there might be able to tell us a little more about it!

It’s certainly a real talking point! 😍 Featuring an intricate green dragon/lion-style face, ornate detailing and what appear to be Chinese coins, it’s a truly unusual piece. It’s also EXTREMELY heavy! 🤯

The gentleman who donated it told us that it had originally been given to him by the Rendezvous Restaurant, but unfortunately, that’s all we know about its history.

We’d love to find out:
🔍 What exactly is it?
📜 Where does it originate from?
🏺 Is it antique, vintage or a more modern decorative piece?
💷 And, most importantly, what might it be worth?

Do we have any antique experts, collectors, or anyone with knowledge of Chinese ornaments and decorative pieces among our lovely followers?

If you recognise it, know its history, or can point us in the direction of someone who could help us value it, we’d be incredibly grateful! 🙏

Please comment below or pop us a message. And if you know someone who might be able to help, please share this post! ❤️

Let’s see if we can uncover the story behind this fascinating donation! 🐉✨

Thank you for supporting your local Prospect Hospice charity shop. Every penny raised helps support our hospice and the incredible work it does. 💚

Make your donations worth even more this Gift Aid Awareness Day!

Did you know that when you donate your pre-loved items to our shops and sign up for Gift Aid, we can claim an extra 25% on the value of your donations when they sell?

That means your clothes, books, homeware and other donated treasures can raise even more to help Prospect Hospice care for local people and their families. 💚

It doesn’t cost you a penny extra, but it can make a big difference.

Next time you donate, just ask our shop team about Gift Aid.
