🎶💜 Is Your Child’s School on the List? 💜🎶

Take a look at the image 👀 — Swindon Music Co-operative teaches in schools all across the area, offering children the chance to learn an instrument during the school day with our friendly and experienced tutors.

From piano and guitar to drums, singing, violin, brass, woodwind and ukulele, there are so many ways for children to discover their love of music 🎸🥁🎤🎻

✨ Fun Music Fact:
Children who learn music often develop stronger memory, concentration and problem-solving skills — and it can even help improve confidence and academic performance! Music really does support the whole child 🌟

🎶💜 What an Incredible Vocal Workshop! 💜🎶

We’re still buzzing from our recent Vocal Workshop — what a fantastic group of young singers! 🌟

The energy, confidence and teamwork shown throughout the day was amazing, and we’ve had such lovely feedback from both students and parents. A huge thank you to all the children who took part — your enthusiasm and willingness to step outside your comfort zones made the day so special. 🎤✨

A very special thank you to Billy & Louie (The Voice UK 2024 finalists) for delivering such an inspiring and engaging workshop. The students gained so much from your experience and encouragement.

Louie shared a little insight into what the group worked on:

“We worked on group pieces, adding harmony and making a performance slick. We then moved onto writing a song which we did as a group and then they split off and added onto it. Finally, we did some work on performance and mic technique where we looked at individuals’ performances and perfected them.”

What an opportunity for these young performers! 🎶

We were only able to make this event happen thanks to the generous support of the Wiltshire Music Connect CIC Legacy Fund, administered by Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation — thank you for believing in the power of music education 💜

🌟 The good news? Another vocal workshop will be taking place this summer… so watch this space for more information coming soon!
