Today we’ve been making up baskets of goodies from the garden for Nancy to take down to the Horizons College work experience day. She’ll be there meeting more students and talking about what it takes to run a kitchen and grow food in the garden 🪴Toby here loves working out our furry friend Pip.

The pleasure was all ours! It meant a great deal to us and our students to host the Mayor of Swindon. For small, young charities like ours simply raising awareness makes a huge impact and we are very grateful.

Our awards ceremony for the students yesterday was full of joy. Huge thanks to Wroughton District Gardening Society and Wickes Swindon who have generously supported us this year and were in attendance to see what we have been doing with their donations. Thanks also to the Mayor of Swindon who came to learn about what we do and handed out the certificates to the students, who were very impressed by his civic regalia! This is our favourite event of the year and makes us reflect on the changes we have seen in the students over the academic year.
