Dynamic Wrexham A centre for children and young people with disabilities in Wrexham, North Wales.

Dynamic is a registered charity providing support for children and young people with disabilities in Wrexham, North Wales. Dynamic offers a range of services for children and young people with diagnosed disabilities aged 8-25 years. These include: after-school and weekend activity sessions, a participation group, nurture programme, advocacy service and a social group for young adults. Dynamic also

provide support to parents/carers with regular support groups, well-being treatments and regular family events. In addition, the Dynamic signing choir, Signing Sensations offer our young people a chance to practise twice weekly and perform within the local community at a variety of public and private events. Some of our young people have been using our new Dynamic Transition project. This project focuses on independent life skills that will help build their confidence, self- achievement and of course independence.
They have worked on:

✅Transport training
✅ Road safety
✅ How to an make emergency phone call and what to say
✅ Cooking/hygiene skills
✅ Purchasing items using digital/person kiosks

They have worked really hard pushing themselves out of their comfort zones to achieve their set goals.

Our Dynamic Voice group had a visit from Ysgolion Bro / Community Focused Schools today.

The group discussed many things around schools and colleges especially the transition period between primary and secondary schools and how this affects ALN students. The group shared their individual experiences of their time in school/college and how it could have been improved.

Thank you to Shân and Claire for visiting today and we look forward to working with them again in the future, specifically on ALN matters....watch this space 👀😊

Happy Volunteers Week Dynamic Followers 😀

This is a week to celebrate 🥳 the amazing contribution volunteers make to our communities and Dynamic knows first-hand the important part volunteers play, as we couldn't do what we do without them.

We send our thanks to all volunteers, past and present who have given up their time to support our charity. Whether, they have been hands-on with our young people, helping in the office, garden or manning fundraising stalls in the rain. Every single minute matters and we are very grateful to you all 🥰

Happy Friday Dynamic Followers 😀

We have been very kindly offered a last-minute opportunity to hold a bucket collection tomorrow evening at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse.

We have 3 volunteers so far, but to be able to accept the offer we need 3 more. We appreciate it is a Bank Holiday and the sun will be shining but if anybody does have a couple of hours to help, we would be very grateful.

Arrival: 4.30pm & expected to finish between 6.30-7pm.
