Could you join us in Ukraine this August? 🇺🇦

Teams4U is looking for volunteers to join our summer camps for children affected by the war in Ukraine.

These camps create a safe and joyful space where children can enjoy games, activities, friendship and support during incredibly difficult times. Volunteers are at the heart of making this happen.

You do not need special experience to take part, just compassion, energy and a willingness to serve as part of a team.

Yesterday, our team visited two Schools in Kailahun, Sierra Leone, as part of our ongoing work supporting girls with washable sanitary pads and menstrual health education.

It was encouraging to hear feedback from the girls who received the pads. Many shared that before this, they had been using cloth to manage their periods. They expressed how happy and grateful they are to now have washable pads, along with the education provided about menstruation, helping them feel more confident and dignified.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Teams4U Easter Egg Appeal 🐣🍫

Because of your incredible generosity, over 5,000 Easter eggs and treats were delivered to children and families in Ukraine 🇺🇦

For children living through the realities of war, these gifts were about so much more than chocolate. They brought smiles, hope and a reminder that they are loved and not forgotten ❤️

Thank you to every school, church, business, community group, volunteer and supporter who donated, packed, transported and helped make this possible. Your kindness has made a real difference to thousands of children.

💛 Empowering young people through opportunity 🇸🇱

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, Teams4U has been able to provide business starter kits to students in Sierra Leone who have recently completed their training. 🙌

Our team in Sierra Leone shared that, with additional support from Teams4U, they were able to procure and distribute gifts and in-kind support to the remaining graduates who were unable to receive them during the graduation ceremony in Freetown.

These starter kits will help give young people the tools they need to begin earning an income, support their families, and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. 💼✨

We’re once again supporting the children’s summer camps in Ukraine 🇺🇦

Thanks to your incredible support, we were able to send over 5,000 Easter gifts to children this year 💙

These camps give children living through incredibly difficult circumstances a chance to rest, have fun, and just be kids again.

Our ambassador Gemma Hunt recently visited Kumi Health Centre IV in Uganda and what she saw was both incredible and incredibly tough. A maternity ward built for just 10 beds is now caring for 19, with around 40 babies being born there every single week.

While she was there, nine babies were born in just one day. It’s amazing, but it also shows just how much pressure the staff and facilities are under.

We’ve begun building a new maternity ward to help, but it’s not finished yet. Right now, mums and newborn babies are already having to use the incomplete space because there simply isn’t anywhere else.

We’re so close to completing it, but we still need to raise £14,069 to make it safe, fully functional, and ready to give these families the care and dignity they deserve.
