Model Engineers of Wrexham

Model Engineers of Wrexham Our miniature railway is open to the public on Sundays & Bank Holidays* from 12:00pm until 4:00pm in summer (3.30pm in winter).

Entrance is via the car park at the Pant-yr-Ochain public house, Gresford, postcode (for satnav) LL12 8TY.

*Weather dependant The WDSME is a Long-Established Group of Model Engineers of all Ages and all Abilities from a Variety of Backgrounds Who Meet on a Regular Basis to Help and Encourage Each Other in Model Building. We Have Members with Many Years of Experience and Knowledge and also Absolu

Trains running again on Sunday 12th from12 noon. Having cleared away all the exhibits from our display last week, our station is back to the usual roomy, cool and welcoming space our visitors enjoy whilst waiting for their train! Special event on Sunday July 5th!

This Sunday, as well as train rides and refreshments, there will be an exhibition of examples of our members' model engineering skill and interests. Displays include scale models built with minute detail, small gauge trains and 'toy' steam engines. Come and visit us, have a ride, have a chat & a cuppa and admire the displays. Open from 12 noon, last train 3.55pm.
