At Nightingale House Hospice we provide free, specialist care and support to people in our community living with progressive, life-limiting and progressive illnesses. For over 30 years, our care has helped patients live life to the fullest despite their diagnosis. Our services are free of charge, ensuring that those who need us receive the support they deserve, thanks to the generosity of our comm
unity and fundraising efforts. Our modern facilities include:
12 en-suite inpatient rooms, including for respite patients. A modern outpatient services facility offering:
Wellbeing Programme
Rehabilitation support
Symptom management and stabilisation
Complementary therapies
Fatigue, anxiety, and breathlessness management
Music therapy
Bathing services
Adult and child bereavement support*
*We are one of the few providers of bereavement support for children, even if their loved one wasn’t cared for at Nightingale House Hospice. We can support people with illnesses like:
Neurological palliative conditions
Heart Failure
Respiratory – severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD – includes pulmonary fibrosis), bronchiectasis
End-stage renal (kidney) disease, end-stage liver failure
Terminal cancer
