We give our teenaged members a different adventure every Monday, fantastic weekend camps, international expeditions and access to the DofE award.

K2 on Monday! ⛳️✨

This week we headed to the driving range to test out our golfing skills and see who had the best swing! 🏌️‍♂️

Safe to say we might have a few future Rory McIlroys or Tiger Woodss in the making… or at least we like to think so 😂 Some shots went flying perfectly down the range… others barely left the mat 😅 but that just made it even funnier. It was all going great until we ran out of golf balls! 👀🙈

Everyone did amazing! Loads of laughs, great energy, and some surprisingly impressive shots!

K2 on Monday! 🍕✨

This week we got creative and built our own pizza ovens using cardboard boxes and foil, then designed and cooked our own pizzas in them.

Some ovens worked perfectly… others didn’t survive the heat and definitely melted a bit. 😅 But overall the pizzas turned out really lush and everyone gave it a good go!
Loads of laughs, creativity, and some surprisingly good pizza!

This week was all about games night - trying out loads of different games and bringing a bit of friendly competition. From intense rounds to completely chaotic moments, every group had their own strategy… some better than others. 😅

Lots of laughs, teamwork, and a bit of rivalry along the way. Safe to say the competition was real! 👏

🎯 K2 This Week! 🎯
Competitive Darts Night as K2 went head-to-head with B🔥.

With the spirit of Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, and Phil Taylor in the air, everyone stepped up to the oche ready to show off their best throws (or at least aim for the board 😅).

The format? Mini mixed groups with a simple rule: winner stays on.
One by one challengers stepped up, hoping to knock the champion off the board while the pressure built with every dart 👀.

After plenty of big scores, near misses, and the occasional throw that definitely wasn’t a 180… we finally reached the final 6 players standing 🏆

K2 This Week! 🔥🪵

We learned a few different ways to light a fire and put our survival skills to the test 🧑‍🚒🔥. The methods?
• Wire wool and a 9V battery 🔋
• Swedish log 🪵
• Fire sticks 🔥
• Bow drill 🏹
It took a bit of patience, a lot of sparks, and a few attempts… but we got there in the end 👏.

Once the fire was going, we made some bread over the fire and finished it off with marshmallows toasted on the flames 🍞🔥🍡.

Safe to say the hard work paid off as nothing beats food cooked over a fire 😋.

K2 Yesterday!

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿✨

To celebrate Dewi Sant (and give our Welsh pride a proper workout), we took on a fast-paced circuit of Welsh-themed activities moving station to station and picking up right where the last group left off. Efficient? Yes. Competitive? Absolutely. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚜️

Station 1: Cardboard Castle Building 🏰
Let’s just say… our architectural masterpiece may not survive a gentle Welsh drizzle, never mind a proper storm. Structural integrity? Questionable. Team spirit? Outstanding.

Station 2: The Welsh & Scouts Quiz 🧠⚜️
Some of us clearly have a future in scouting trivia championships…
Others? Perhaps not a future in Welsh tour guiding. No names mentioned. No shade thrown. 😎

Stations 3 & 4: Welsh Cake Baking & Welsh Rarebit Cooking 🍞🧀
Mainly a success! The Welsh cakes were flying, the rarebit was melting… although a few members seem to be bravely committed to the concept of “minimal seasoning.” We admire the restraint.

Huge well done to everyone for getting stuck in 👏

And congratulations to “The Daffodils” (Team 2) for topping the leaderboard in the quiz! 🌼🏆

K2 on Monday! 🛠️🐦

We all split into groups and got our DIY skills properly tested 👷‍♀️🔨. The mission? Build bird boxes that were actually sturdy enough to survive outside (and hopefully attract some birds 🤞).

There was a lot of measuring, hammering, holding bits of wood steady and hoping for the best… but somehow they all came together in the end 👏🏽.

Once they were finished, we put them up outside the hut ready for some new feathery residents to move in 🏡🐦.

If anyone needs a bird box built… don’t ask us… or do? We might start charging soon 💸😂

It was all about detective work! Everyone split into groups, put on their detective caps 🕵️‍♀️, and worked together to figure out who the murderer was. Clues were everywhere 🔍, and it took some serious teamwork to solve the mystery.🤝 After lots of investigation and suspense,the culprit was finally revealed… it was Russell the chef! 🍳 Maybe we have some future Sherlock Holmes in our midst 😂✨🔎.

We put our taste buds to the test 🍜😂
One big question: does expensive actually taste better? 💸🤔 Both noodles were cooked in the same pot. Taste, judge, and pick a winner. Easy… or so we thought 😅 Opinions changed, and debates got loud!
Who knew noodles could cause this much drama? ✨🍜

This week at K2!
It was all about teamwork, creativity, and doing things properly 🙌 - starting off with learning how to try the flags the right way and why it matters. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿✨

Then it was time to put our building skills to the test with a LEGO challenge 🧱🔥 Each team began with just one cup of random LEGO pieces and a theme to match. Build something that fit the brief, and you could win the round - simple… or so it seemed! 😅

There were three rounds, and things got more interesting as we went on. The more points a team earned, the more extra LEGO they were given for the next build - meaning bigger ideas, bolder creations, and a lot of competitive energy (or so we hoped) 🤣🏆

Loads of focus, imagination, and some seriously impressive builds along the way. Can’t wait to see what’s next! ✨🧱

This time we swapped cameras and chaos for strategy and negotiation — diving into a trading game where teams bartered “resources” to build up as much “gold” as possible 💰✨

From lucky trades to risky gambles, every group had their own tactics - some surprisingly clever, some very chaotic, but all absolutely hilarious The competitiveness was real.😆🤝 In the end, Alex’s team came out on top with a massive 936 gold 🏆🔥

Loads of laughs, clever thinking, and a whole lot of trading madness.
