Our book club discussions sometimes turn to film comparisons, so this time it was deliberate. The July theme was The Shawshank Redemption - book versus film (the film won our vote, just!)

Another enjoyable evening discussing our chosen title, plus lots of chat about other books we’re readung.

The Darland Divas book club is a free sub group open to members of Darland Divas WI.

Whats your holiday read? 📚

A lovely evening of craft and chat, with some beautiful items for our members to take home.

We’re looking forward to hosting a stall at Picnic in the park, this Saturday 27 June, 1-4pm, at Rossett Park, organised by Rossett Community Council

We’ll be selling some handmade crafts, second hand books and a small selection of herb and vegetable plants.

This gorgeous family of handmade hedgehogs 🦔 are looking for a new home. Enter our competition on Saturday to correctly guess their family name, and they can be yours!

Come along on Saturday, we look forward to meeting you 🌻

A very enjoyable evening with Jo Follows - a wonderful storyteller.

Some great information on the vital elements to include in any good story, but also a fascinating insight into Jo’s life, background and career as a prolific author.

The group next meets on Wednesday 8th July. Please like and follow this page for further details.
