Following on from our post yesterday, here is our wonderful Fluffy enjoying a grooming session 🥰

Even after the popularity of yesterday's post Fluffy still hasn't had any viable interest as unfortunately she can't live with other cats 🥲 We're looking for a home that Fluffy can have all to herself with lots of 1-1 love and attention. If this is you, please get in touch or follow the link below...

150 days in care and counting!

One of our long term residents Fluffy is still on the lookout for her forever home. Unfortunately, our darling girl has been getting really overlooked since she's been with us and has had much less interest than our usual long stays who at least have a few people meeting them before the right person sticks. 😿

🩺Fluffy does have a few ongoing health issues that we've gone into below, but her personality makes up for it. She's a complete lap cat and adores climbing right into volunteer laps the second they sit down. She'll happily sit there for a very long time being fusses and groomed, purring her little heart out.

Being long haired, Fluffy will need daily grooming to keep on top of matts, but she adores every second of this. We've even had to give her a sanitary shave recently and she lay back and purred the whole time. 🪮

Fluffy has stage 2 kidney disease so is on a specialist renal diet to keep her as healthy as possible for as long as possible. She's also got hypertension (high blood pressure) and takes some medication every day to keep this stable, but she's usually a very good girl about taking it.
She's also got arthritis but is quite comfortable with this at the moment, and she's got a grade 2 heart murmur that is currently not causing her any issues.

If you think you can provide Fluffy with a lovely home even with her health issues, please do come in as we'd love to see her get her happy ending and settle into a new home.

When looking for a new cat to join the family, many people opt for cute kittens and younger cats, meaning mature moggies are often overlooked.

Sadly, older cats in our care wait three times longer to find homes than their younger counterparts. Mature and senior cats deserve to be championed because each has their own unique character. They can be just as loving and playful as younger cats.

We promise to find a new home for every cat, no matter how long it takes. But we would love to get mature moggies into cosy new homes quicker, as that’s where they’re happiest 😻

This day why not give one of our wonderful mature moggies a new home! Check out their profiles here: https://www.cats.org.uk/northwales
