💜Our next Dad Ventures session will be at Wolf's Den at Erddig on Thursday 4th June 5.30-7pm 🧡

We will have the area to ourselves with time to climb, swing and explore.

Weather permitting we will also have a campfire to toast marshmallows.

💜 It’s Volunteers’ Week! 💜

This week, Home-Start Wrexham wants to say a huge THANK YOU to each & every one of our amazing volunteers.

Quite simply, Home-Start Wrexham could not run without you.

From our dedicated Trustee Board to those who help with DIY jobs around the office — every single contribution makes a difference.

Your kindness, time, skills, and commitment help us support families across Wrexham every day, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

Dads…no plans this morning and got at least one child 0-12years?

Nicky and Pam are at Bellevue for our Dad Ventures session 10-12 today with the coffee for grown ups and stuff to entertain the children.

Pop along and meet some other Dads and have some fun with your little ones.

Sunshine, laughter and a warm welcome guaranteed this morning ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

Camp at the Castle

9 years of making memories but we’re at risk of not being able to offer it this year.

This opportunity for families is 💯 one of the most wonderful things to be part of. The support and care that families benefit from is lasting and creates amazing memories for little ones (and big ones) to remember forever.

The camp costs very little because we have the equipment thanks to a The National Lottery Community Fund/ Cronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol grant 10 years ago. We all volunteer our time to help, wash sleeping bags and ‘sleep’ over….the cost is food.

Any little amount you could donate will help us give families 3 days and 2 nights of absolute fun, laughter and care 🧡💜

Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund we are working on a project with , BCUHB Health Improvement Team and .

Meithrin Natur - Growing with Nature is an exciting opportunity to co-produce a new project focused on connecting under 5's with Nature.

How you can get involved:
- Use the QR code to complete a short survey about your experience of accessing nature with your children.

- Join our focus groups - this will be a small group of parents/trusted adults who will work with us to look at the feedback and shape what the new project will look like.

We made it! 🧡💜

Our 2026 Annual Family Fun Day and wow did the sun shine for us!

A humungous thank you to everyone who came along or supported us with raffle prizes, stalls, organising behind the scenes or helping out on the day.

We love seeing all those happy faces and hope lots of fun was had.

A special thanks to the amazing Natasha for her hard work pulling the day together 💓 (and for ordering the sunshine ☀️)

We will let you know how much we made when we’ve counted up…but first a rest.
