The Heart of the Valley Show We are an annual agricultural/rural show focusing on an affordable, enjoyable, fun day out for all!

We are a small committee group who a number of years ago decided we wanted to put on something for the community. We want all the come and sample the rural life of the Swansea Valley. Get up close to farm animals and talk to their handlers
Falconry, Gun Dog Display, Sheep Dog Trials, F

ly Fishing, Milking Cows, children's entertainer, Tractors, Shire Horse, as well as music and craft stalls AND so much more..........

🦉✨ NAME OUR OWLS COMPETITION! ✨🦉

Wings of Wales needs YOUR help! We’re welcoming two amazing Northern Hawk Owls and we want you to name them!

🎨 How to enter:
Draw or paint a picture of our owls, choose your names, then ask a grown-up to photograph your artwork and email it to:

💡 Don’t forget to tell us:
🌲 What environment your names are inspired by
🦉 How they link to hawk owl characteristics
🌍 Which countries hawk owls are found in

⭐ Example: Nova & Orion

Open skies & northern wilderness
Hawk-like hunters – celestial watchers
Found in Canada, Alaska & Scandinavia

👧👦 Two age categories:
• 4–6 years
• 7–10 years

🏆 Prize:
One winner from each category will win a Family Hawk & Owl Experience
📅 Both winners will visit together on June 28th, 2026

April 17th, 2026

•Save the date to your calendar 5th of September 2026, 10am until 5pm on the recreation ground in Pontardawe

•Now is the time for stall holders that are interested in attending the show to give us an email
