Our Wildings group got together last week to help make stepping stones for the garden. They had great fun making different stone designs, meeting the goats, picking blackberries, helping water the community garden, climbing trees and enjoying a healthy brunch 😁

August - Garden Update

It's been an incredibly tough growing season with such little rain this year but we currently have chillis, tomatoes, rhubarb, spinach, lettuce, beans and pak choi growing and beginning to harvest in the garden which will be donated to local foodbanks. We also have an abundance of blackberries in our natural hedgerows and have already started picking them - in July! Very early for the time of year but absolutely delicious!

Hi everyone, apologies it has been so long since posting. Due to some personal circumstances, I had to take a pause on the project as life got in the way but have been quietly spending as much spare time as possible tidying up the garden and getting ready for summer. With help from a couple of friends, we have now added a polytunnel and I have been planting hundreds of seeds and seedlings in the last few weeks in hope we will have lots of veggies to donate to the food bank this year. Here is a little update on how the garden is currently looking. We hope to start some regular volunteer sessions in the next few weeks so if anyone is interested in meeting new people and helping out a good cause and spending time outdoors, we would love some helping hands ❤️
