Our Repair Cafe on the 9th of May was another successful morning of items being fixed rather than binned. 🎉

Items repaired included:
- 2 x hedge cutters
- hair trimmer
- solar powered LED lights
- 2 pairs of scissors
- wooden jewelry boxes
- wooden puppet
- a silver dragon brooch
- 2 x vacuums

Our next Pontardawe Repair Cafe is on the 13th of June between 10.30am and 12.30pm at Tŷ'r Gwrhyd, Holly Street, Pontardawe.
Call in to see if we can help you repair your items rather than send them to landfill.

Llongyfarchiadau mawr to our very own Pontardawe Repair Cafe volunteer, Jamie Nemeth, on his election as Mayor of Pontardawe for 2026-27. 🎉
We wish you well for the coming year but we wouldn't recommend that you wear the mayoral chain when you tackle toasters and strimmers at our Repair Cafe next month! 😆

Please don't bring these items... we can't
fix them! 🛠️

Our volunteers are amazing, but we have our limits. We can't repair white goods, safety equipment, or microwaves, they're too big, heavy, or risky. There are still many other things that can get fixed!

Roedd yn fore braf i aelodau Caffi Trwsio Pontardawe ddydd Sadwrn diwethaf.

It was a lovely morning for the Pontardawe Repair Cafe volunteers last Saturday. We had a flurry of items arrive with a few even waiting at the doors for us to open! :)

Sue, Jamie, Howard, Glen, Allan and Gwenno tackled the following and deemed it a good morning's work!
