🗓️We have just over a week to go before our next Clothes Swap, so please do get in touch to arrange your drop-off’s this weekend & next week.

📣 DROP OFF LOCATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Please feel free to contact your nearest Clothes Swap Volunteer directly or drop us a message if you have any problems. The ladies will also comment on this post asap, so you can see who they are 👋

🗓️ SUNDAY 7TH JUNE at 2pm at Pontardawe Arts Centre

FREE entry!

‼️PLEASE NO BLACK BAGS FULL OF CLOTHES

☕️ Please arrive by 1:30pm and grab a beverage at the bar - your support means we can hopefully continue to use this fabulous venue for future events.

🍪 Please do bring a packet of biscuits or a tin of food as a donation to Pantry Food Bank Pontardawe, if you are able.

❓If you don’t have anything to donate / swap, please feel free to message us in total confidence and we will make sure you have some tokens to come along to our event. No judgement here.

📧 Message any one of the team to drop off your good condition items. Drop-off’s will open a couple of weeks before the event and will be announced on social media.

What to expect 👇

🗓️ Items can be dropped off to your nearest volunteer when drop-offs open (no more than 10 items please.)

👗They must be clean / pressed / on hangers with the exception of jeans / trousers, these can be folded.

🩳 They must be free from damage, broken zips, missing buttons, stains etc.

⛔️ NO underwear, swimwear, pj’s, slippers, earrings.

🎟️ For every item you will receive a token to use at the event.

❤️ We accept all shapes and sizes of women’s clothing, men’s clothing and very good condition children’s clothing.

💵 If you donate high-end designer goods, there is no guarantee you will receive the same brand or value back. Remember you are donating in the HOPE to find something you love.

💭 Please be mindful and ask yourself “would I gift this clothing to a friend or has it gone past its good condition marker?”

👗Who had a good wardrobe sort out this bank holiday? There’s still plenty of time though - drop-off locations will open roughly two weeks before the date. We’ll announce it here.

👏 Another fab event in the bag!

Thanks so much to everyone who attended, donated clothes and supported us to pull it all together!

Special mentions to Pontardawe Town Council for their funding support, Hwb Lles for allowing us to host in such a beautiful community venue, Kirstie for all her help and supply of teas and coffees, Tesco Pontardawe for the donation of old stock and of course… to our volunteers, who throw their energy and time at running the event.

Thank you also, for all the dry food donations for Pantry Foodbank - you generosity is greatly appreciated.
