The wheel is spinning.....

Today, we are highlighting 𝐛𝐨𝐱𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥. We will be providing extra breakfast cereal and milk over the holidays, to give children the best start to the day. Cereal is also great as an easy snack inbetween meals and easy for kids to prepare themselves.

We will be working alongside Forth Valley College again this Summer to provide a pre made lunch prepared by their Catering students and staff, to be heated at home for the children we support.

Together, we will cover the 6 week school holiday period when school lunches aren't available. 💜

We are proud to support Start Up Stirling's Spin It For Summer campaign, helping to boost their Crisis Food Service and provide vital support to people experiencing financial hardship across the Stirling area. 🤝

Our Hospitality Team has worked closely with the charity in recent years and is backing the campaign through June to help replenish food supplies ahead of the summer holidays. The campaign includes a food donation drive at Tesco Superstore in Stirling on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June, alongside online donations.

Donations of essential items and financial support will help ensure families have access to the food they need during the school holiday period, when demand on services is at its highest.

Can you help this summer ☀ by hosting a food donation station in your group, office , or workplace or another location in your community?

Summer predominantly is a time when donations received are reduced, but the need for crisis food support remains the same.

We are in Killin tomorrow and looking forward to seeing everyone. Come and have some lunch with us and enjoy the company of others in the village.

On our wheel, you will see that there are 6 different items in order to boost our food supplies during the school holidays. Child poverty rates across the Stirling Council area show pockets of deprivation well exceeding the national average. We aim to make sure that the extra support is there for families who will struggle with the kids at home for 6 long weeks.

Throughout our campaign, we will highlight each item on our wheel and ask if you can make a food donation to help what could be your neighbour, friend, colleague, or even family member, who is already anxious about how they will manage over the school break.
