The club would like to thank Evelyn Kenny owner of Evie's Aesthetics for kindly sponsoring the coaches jackets. We have had them for a number of months but tying this busy lady down hadn't been easy. 😆

The club really appreciate having another local sponsor on board and Evie is well known around the village. She is the mastermind behind which have to date raised over £50000 for local cancer charities. The next fundraising event details are detailed below. Amazing, the work you and the team do is incredible 👏 ❤️

Thanks again from the team at Bannockburn Girls 🇱🇻⚽️ 🥅

Friday night saw us host Stenhousemuir Community Foundation - Girls Under-14's in a rearranged league game from a few weeks ago.

The 1st 10 minutes were pretty even with both sides trying to get the ball down and play.

Stenny would take the lead after we failed to deal with a corner and allowed the number 10 to finish well at the far post. We almost replied instantly when esme fired wide after been played in behind by a good ball from eilidh. Esme's chance seemed to spur stenny on as they took control of the game and started creating chances. Emily in goal having to make 2 or 3 good saves to keep us from falling further behind. 5 minutes from ht stenny would get their 2nd from a good finish their number 2 who stole the ball on the edge of our area before firing high into the net past emily who manged to get a finger to it but unfortunately couldnt keep it out.

The 2nd half started much like the 1st as both teams battled hard and played some nice football without really much goalmouth action. Unfortunately for us stenny would extend their lead when their number 11 finished at the 2nd attempt after another good save from Emily. We managed to get a goal of our own before the full time whistle when our captain callie picked the ball up around half way and evaded a couple of challenges before finishing past the on rushing goalkeeper. FT 3-1

Well done to callie for her goal and well done to our number 1 Emily on a well deserved potm.

Everyone at bannockburn girls would like to wish Peony a quick recovery and are keeping our fingers crossed that her injury isn't to serious.🤞

Good luck to Stenny for the rest of the season McQs Bannockburn Derek Robertson BMC Groundworks and Maintenance Evelyn Kenny

Thank you to Riverside Girls FC 2012's for the game this morning after our original opponents were unable to play.

It was 1-1 for large part of the game until our Gk Emily sustained an injury and was unable to continue. Thanks to Belle for once again for putting on the gloves and making some great saves. Unfortunately Riverside were too strong and ran out deserved winners.

Happy birthday to Callie & Orla who are the latest teenagers and have played with the club since it was formed in 2020 🎂

We are still on the look out for a sponsor for a new training kit. If anyone is interested please get in touch!

Eilidh emphatically dispatching her penalty for her boys team today. Eilidh joined us towards the end of last season and has been a great addition to the team. Despite being a 2014 she more than holds her own against older girls. Keep up the good work Eilidh.⚽️🇱🇻⚽️

It was a return to competitive action yesterday against dunblane girls at dunblane high school.

The girls started the game slowly and were punished when dunblane took the lead with a good finish. This goal seemed to wake the girls up and we were soon back on level terms thanks to great individual goal from Kara Hay. We thought we had taken the lead shortly after when Eva fired in from the edge of the box but the ref ruled it out. Eva wasn't to be denied tho and soon put us in front with what is becoming abit of a trademark finish of hers, again firing high into the net from the edge of the box. Birthday girl Miya thought she had the perfect present when she finished well into the bottom corner but again the ref ruled it out. We created a few more chances which unfortunately we couldnt take but in the end the 2 goals were enough to take the 3 points. Well done to Eva and Kara on their goals and well done to Francesca won was awarded the refs potm McQs Bannockburn BMC Groundworks and Maintenance Derek Robertson Evelyn Kenny

On Saturday the team travelled to Ibrox to play Rangers Next Gen Girls.

The girls effort and enthusiasm was outstanding and they really are a credit to the club. 2 x 80 minute game at 7 and 9 a side was a challenge and provided to be an excellent work out. Thank you to Rangers for hosting and good luck in the season ahead.
