Thank you to Riverside Girls FC 2012's for the game this morning after our original opponents were unable to play.

It was 1-1 for large part of the game until our Gk Emily sustained an injury and was unable to continue. Thanks to Belle for once again for putting on the gloves and making some great saves. Unfortunately Riverside were too strong and ran out deserved winners.

Eilidh emphatically dispatching her penalty for her boys team today. Eilidh joined us towards the end of last season and has been a great addition to the team. Despite being a 2014 she more than holds her own against older girls. Keep up the good work Eilidh.⚽️🇱🇻⚽️

It was a return to competitive action yesterday against dunblane girls at dunblane high school.

The girls started the game slowly and were punished when dunblane took the lead with a good finish. This goal seemed to wake the girls up and we were soon back on level terms thanks to great individual goal from Kara Hay. We thought we had taken the lead shortly after when Eva fired in from the edge of the box but the ref ruled it out. Eva wasn't to be denied tho and soon put us in front with what is becoming abit of a trademark finish of hers, again firing high into the net from the edge of the box. Birthday girl Miya thought she had the perfect present when she finished well into the bottom corner but again the ref ruled it out. We created a few more chances which unfortunately we couldnt take but in the end the 2 goals were enough to take the 3 points. Sunday morning saw the girls return to action against Newmains United at Bannockburn HS.

A tightly contested game saw the visitors win 3-2.

On Saturday the team travelled to Ibrox to play Rangers Next Gen Girls.

The girls effort and enthusiasm was outstanding and they really are a credit to the club. 2 x 80 minute game at 7 and 9 a side was a challenge and provided to be an excellent work out. Thank you to Rangers for hosting and good luck in the season ahead.

Thank you to Sauchie Juniors Academy for holding a great festival yesterday. It was well attended and ran smoothly. The team finished in 3rd place with a well deserved victory over Port Glasgow in the play off. We train this week before an exciting trip to Ibrox on Saturday to play Rangers. 🇱🇻⚽️😊
