Sometimes one choice can make a lifelong difference.
Best Bar None Scotland is proud to support Just One Choice UK and its message around alcohol and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, FASD.
FASD is a lifelong condition caused by exposure to alcohol before birth.
If you are pregnant, or think you could be pregnant, choosing not to drink alcohol is the only way to prevent FASD.
We also believe safer socialising means respecting everyone's choices.
That means no pressure to drink, good alcohol-free choices and a supportive environment for anyone who chooses not to drink.
Let's help share the message and raise awareness of FASD.

Best Bar None Scotland is proud to support the Just One Choice UK campaign and its important message about alcohol and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, known as FASD.
Pregnancy comes with a million choices. Choosing an alcohol-free one is the safest choice.
The UK Chief Medical Officers advise that if you are pregnant or think you could become pregnant, the safest approach is not to drink alcohol at all.
Just One Choice shares clear, friendly, judgement-free information — no blame, no lectures, just the facts so everyone can make an informed choice.

For many victims, reaching out for help can be incredibly difficult. Information shared by someone else could help protect a person at risk, and maybe even save a life.

In 2025/26, information given anonymously to Crimestoppers from the Scottish public about domestic abuse rose by 38% and drink/drug driving reports reached 4,500 – up by 15%.

It can be hard to know how to help – but if you’ve spotted signs of domestic abuse, you can contact Crimestoppers and stay 100% anonymous. Always.
