Heidi , one of our Boer goats was busy eating her tea and to prevent Zebedee , our Ouessant sheep from stealing it Sophia held him gently between her legs ..
I reckon she didnt tell me Zebedee put on her wellies !!!

From gentle giants to lap-loving Chihuahuas, our incredible pack has faced blindness, illness, abuse and unimaginable past hardships—but they have endless love to give, and you can share it with them here, in their forever home 💙

Your visit directly funds their food, medical care, and sanctuary home, plus helps towards their new upgraded accommodation.

• 90 minutes of pure, uninterrupted dog cuddles
• Heartwarming stories of rescue and recovery

💙🐶 Who's gonna be our guinea pig then pleeease?! 🙌💙

As part of our transition to the new era of Glendrick Roost, we've been hunting for an simple platform where we can fundraise, take bookings for Doggy Snuggles, look at offering memberships or sponsorships for the dogs etc, all from one streamlined landing page, without having to pay a fortune for a website or lose huge chunks of donations to charges like the others we've used previously!

And I think we've cracked it! Now please keep in mind we are still figuring it all out, and you guys know how we are with technology around here haha, so before we put it out there on a bigger scale we need to test out what we've done so far 😬🙏

We can't create the landing page until a handful of transactions have been processed, SO, if you've been thinking of booking a Snuggle with the dogs, or are able to donate a few pennies to the cause, could you please do it now through links in comments and be one of the first lovely peeps to trial our new system?! 😀

These three beautiful blind dogs are triplets ; they came from Cyprus and were in a cage for six years. We had them for a further five years and then within months of each other we lost Jedi at the front and Yoda at the back . Kenobi has now been with us for another year plus . She is a wonderful girl who has now gone deaf as well as blind . She still goes up the paddocks off lead along the top and back down to the decking in her own time . Blind dogs are awesome and so capable

This wonderful boy Gandalf has now climbed 82 munros [ mountain over 3,000 feet ] He is hoping those of you who have NOT donated to our Barkers Barn will PLEASE consider doing so as we are still short of enough money to finish it . This beautiful little blind boy is Munchkin .He came to us in 2018 at an unknown age but at least 5, He is a very popular , gentle boy and loves everybody but especially Darren . With age he has now gone deaf and gets a bit confused at times . He has raised a lot of money for the sanctuary by doing three fundraising walks .

Hagrid is a Spanish Water dog who was born blind and with no tail . He is a loving boy and has done a couple of fundraising walks for the Sanctuary raising much needed cash .

Apparently it is international black dog day to celebrate beautiful black dogs , We have 9 black dogs here at the Sanctuary . They are all disabled and have a HOME FOR LIFE here . Click on each picture to find out what is wrong with them Love them all
