📣 Tweed Valley Trail Association AGM

We’d love you to join us for our Annual General Meeting a chance to come together, look back at what’s been achieved and help shape what comes next for the trails in the Tweed Valley

We’ll be:

🔹 Reviewing our progress and achievements from 2025/26
🔹 Sharing updates on the work TVTA has been doing across the valley
🔹 Hearing your feedback, ideas and priorities
🔹 Summarising our forward plan and ambitions for the year ahead

TVTA is driven by the people who ride, dig, maintain, donate and care about our trails. The AGM is an opportunity to hear what’s happening, ask questions and have your say on where we go next.

Today is International Mountain Rescue Day. On this date in 1948, mountain rescue pioneers from different countries gathered at the Wilden Kaiser at the invitation of the Austrian Alpine Club. They exchanged knowledge, shared experiences, and laid the foundation for what would become ICAR – the International Commission for Alpine Rescue

A massive thank you to all our volunteers, all the team members who go out on callouts and the considerable number who help in numerous other ways, on and off the hill including families and friends, and all the people who support us in any way.

Our contractors have been back up the hill doing work to Lower Wolves. Another dry, busy summer has seen the trails take an absolute beating so they’re definitely in need of some love.

Another huge biking event for the Borders
