Six months after losing their mum, this family shared a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Ward 2 at Woodland View, North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership for the kindness, humour and care they showed during her final days.

In their story, they described how staff supported their whole family through one of the hardest times in their lives, including fingerprint keepsake cards created by Staff Nurse Toni that they say they will cherish forever.

In their own words, this patient described how the care they received on Ward 6, at NHS Forth Valley was shaped by kindness, patience, reassurance, and teamwork. They shared how staff made them feel supported, safe, and genuinely cared for during a difficult time, and how even small interactions made a meaningful difference to their experience.
